This edition of the Embodied Leadership Retreat is exclusively for women.

By bringing together women with different roles and positions we are able to tap into the collective intelligence and gain valuable insights from each other’s perspectives.

How does the Retreat Program look?

We’ve crafted a comprehensive program spanning two transformative training days, designed specifically for women eager to enhance their personal leadership journey.

How the brain and body work:

  • Understanding your autonomic nervous system – the role of the vagus nerve and fight-flight-freeze responses
  • Becoming aware of how feelings, emotions and thoughts influence your behaviours

Exploring your conditioned habits:

  • Understanding and managing your automatic responses under pressure
  • Obtaining the skills to better navigate feelings, emotions and thoughts under pressure

Bringing out the best in you: respond vs. react

  • Embodying confidence and assertiveness in your posture and presence in your reactions

The Embodied Leadership Retreat offers you somatic practices, and cutting-edge leadership strategies that connect your mind, body, and spirit, based on insights from evolutionary biology, neuroscience and the Japanese martial art Aikido. By physically experiencing situations, you’ll approach them with more confidence and will be able to skilfully guide your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour in a calm and collected way.

Instead of thinking our way into different behaviours, in this Retreat we act ourselves into new ways of feeling and understanding by using our body’s intelligence.


What you’ll learn:

This Embodied Leadership retreat is not a course on what you do and how you lead. It is a journey to self-discovery about who you are. You will discover the power of embodied leadership and will learn how to act with authenticity, resilience and impact.

This retreat will help you to:

  • Really deal with stress and the risk of burnout – master new, practical strategies to manage high pressure situations, prevent burnout, and maintain resilience when things get tough.
  • Work with complex power dynamics at work like stereotypes and unconscious bias and own your influence with confidence.
  • Manage high-stakes decision-making and learn to set your boundaries, even in stressful situations.
  • Overcome self-doubt and the imposter syndrome.
  • Prioritise self-care by learning how to balance responsibilities and how to say “no”.
  • Have effective conversations by learning how to pause your judgements and establishing a meaningful connection.
  • Network effectively to benefit your career.
