Talking about the bias in your team can be difficult… but playing a game about it makes it so much easier!
Conversations about bias in teams can feel tense. People become defensive, misunderstandings grow, and difficult topics are avoided, especially during moments of pressure or conflict. What if playing a game was the solution?
Unconscious Bias Board Game
A discussion-based board game that helps teams explore bias together in a constructive, collaborative way.
Learning through play is at the heart of this game. It starts from a simple truth: we all have biases. Instead of teaching the “right” answers, the game creates space for shared reflection and open conversation.
The goal of the game is to spark discussion around unconscious bias, how it shapes our behaviour, and how it shows up at work in the way we see and respond to others.
As players move across the board, questions and insights guide conversations about bias, connecting abstract concepts to the real dynamics and relationships in their own workplace.

Game format
The Unconscious Bias Game is a collaborative board game built around open, guided conversations. Players move through the board together, using question cards to explore real workplace situations and insight cards to pause, reflect, and connect the dots as a group. Each round blends action, dialogue, and reflection.
For the best experience with the game, especially for teams newer to conversations around bias and inclusion, we recommend facilitators (which is something we will gladly help you organise). However, self-facilitation is also a great option for teams.
Each game kit includes an interactive board, question and insight cards, pawns, and dice.

Yes, you are biased
But that’s where the learning starts! Teams avoid difficult topics or can even become defensive around bias-related topics. The game creates a safe space for honest dialogue, helping teams build understanding, strengthen connection, and translate insights into practical actions they can apply on the job. Players will explore how bias shows up not just in general, but in their own workplace.
Expect meaningful conversation with other players, moments of insight, and the chance to look at your own assumptions with curiosity rather than judgement.
Suitable as a standalone team activity or as part of a wider learning, DEI, or leadership development programme.
